In a significant step towards improving the support we provide to those affected by suicide, the Headlight Project is delighted to announce an investment to streamline our back-office processes through the adoption of the software system, Lamplight. This initiative has been made possible thanks to a generous donation from the attendees of the recent Tees Tech Awards, organised by Tees Business.
The Headlight Project has long been dedicated to reducing suicide in Teesside and providing essential support to those affected by it. By investing in Lamplight software, the charity aims to enhance its operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and better track the impact of its programmes.
Lamplight is a comprehensive software solution designed for charities and non-profit organisations. It offers a range of features including case management, impact reporting, and scheduling, which are crucial for the effective management of support services. With this new tool, we will be able to streamline our processes, ensuring that resources are utilised efficiently and that more individuals can receive timely and effective help, especially as the number of referrals we receive continues to rise.
The funding for this pivotal investment was sourced from the attendees of the Tees Tech Awards, an event that celebrates technological innovation and achievements in the Tees Valley region. The attendees, recognising the vital importance of mental health and suicide prevention, collectively raised funds to support the Headlight Project’s mission. It is fitting that these funds were spent on improving the technology available to our team.
Their generous contribution underscores the community’s commitment to supporting mental health initiatives and acknowledges the significant role that technology can play in transforming lives.
The integration of Lamplight software is expected to bring about several positive changes. With enhanced data management capabilities, the charity will be better equipped to monitor and evaluate its services, tailor its offerings to meet the needs of our clients, and, hopefully, save more lives.
The Headlight Project’s collaboration with the Tees Tech Awards attendees exemplifies the power of community and technology coming together for a common cause. As the charity continues to advance its mission, this new investment in Lamplight software marks a promising step forward in the fight against suicide.
